Medford Cruise Week

Central Point, Ore., — Hundreds of people from all over the country and Canada, gathered in Central Point today for opening day of Medford Cruise Week.

Nearly 140 drivers came to test out the track at Jackson County Sports Park, making this their biggest year yet.

Driver and host, Zach Abercrombie says this event brings the drift community together in ways that other sports don’t.

“Drifting for me is my whole life, it’s my business, it’s what I spend my all my time doing, it’s pretty much everything for me. Drifting has always been about everybody sticking together and helping each other more than any motor sport I’ve ever seen.”

The event continues until the 18th with different events each day.

All the money raised will go to local charities that benefit children.
