Medford, Ore.–  Stories of survival filled the room this morning at a breakfast event benefiting sex trafficking awareness.

The event sponsored by Rotary, United Way of Jackson County and Women Living Leadership Council introduced the “More Than a Survivor” photo exhibit.

Each photo features a women who was a sex trafficking victim.  Speaker and Rogue Valley resident Rebecca Bender was a victim herself.

“The truth is we have had human trafficking victims go through this county,” explains Bender.  “Probably under a dozen in the last two years. ”

The photos will be on display at four Rogue Valley locations, with the first beginning January 16th at 6pm at the SOU Stevenson Union.
