Bend, Ore. (KTVZ) — Last Monday was supposed to be a totally joyous day for Casey Purcell, as she gave birth to her second child — a son, Jaxxon. But while in labor, someone stole her car from the hospital parking lot, with her new baby supplies still inside.
The car was later found, abandoned and stripped of several parts.
Friday was a much better day, thanks to some folks touched by her story.
The Auto Clinic of Bend and V-R Garage helped to get the car parts and repairs done for Purcell and baby Jaxxon.
