Oregon lawmakers consider firearm “safe storage” bill

SALEM, Ore. (KATU) – When Oregon’s Legislature convenes February 3, it may get the chance to consider another version of a statewide firearms safe storage law. Oregon’s House and Senate judiciary committee heard testimony last week on LC 38, the designation for the proposed legislation. The law would require gun owners to safely store firearms or face a $250 fine.
