Police looking for suspect in Central Point stabbing

Update (1/13 3:21pm): Central point police say Ector Navarro-Sanchez turned himself in at about 10:20 this morning.

Navarro-Sanchez was booked in the Jackson County Jail for Attempted Murder, Assault I and Unlawful Use of a Weapon.


CENTRAL POINT, Ore. — Central Point Police are looking for a man they consider to be armed and dangerous.

Police identified 32-year-old Ector Navarro-Sanchez as the suspect. They say he is still at large.

Central Point Police believe he is a suspect in an attempted murder at Rustic Mobile Home and RV Park where there was a call of a stabbing this evening on Taylor Road in Central Point.

He was accompanied by an unknown hispanic man and an unknown blonde, early 20’s white woman.

The victim was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Residents were able to come and go from their homes, but police were not allowing any foot traffic in the area.

If you see Navarro-Sanchez or know anything regarding those who were with him, call police.
