Clinton, Trump come out on top in Nevada and South Carolina

Nevada/South Carolina – In the race for the White House, it’s Showdown Saturday: Hillary Clinton versus Bernie Sanders in Nevada, and Donald Trump versus all his rivals in South Carolina.

Hillary Clinton declared victory in Nevada’s democratic caucus after closely edging Senator Bernie Sanders following days of intense campaigning.

The win gives Clinton a much-needed boost following her 22-point loss to Sanders in the New Hampshire primary on February 9th.

Clinton and Sanders next face off in the South Carolina Democratic primary next Saturday.

CNN has projected Donald Trump as the winner of the South Carolina Republican primary, validating his status as the GOP’s national front runner.

The victory gives the former reality TV star a burst of momentum heading into Nevada’s Republican caucuses Tuesday.
