Chiloquin woman facing multiple charges of attempted murder

edmondson imageSprague River, Ore. – A Chiloquin woman is in jail Thursday night on charges that include 3 counts of attempted murder.

Police say 51-year-old Kellie Ann Edmondson pointed a rifle at a clerk at the Squaw Flats Store Wednesday afternoon, then walked out with a 6-pack of beer.

Corporal Brian Bryson of the Klamath County Sheriff’s Office said, “Shortly thereafter, some shots fired call came out on Drews Road, where the same suspect was shooting at a residence.”

Police say Edmondson also used the butt end of the rifle to break out several windows.

None of the 3 people in the home were injured.

Edmondson was arraigned on multiple charges Thursday afternoon, her bail is set at $75,000.
