Residents of Glendale advised not to drink city water

0928-water-main-breakGlendale, Ore. – The City of Glendale has experienced a water emergency after a water main break. City officials said the public drinking water service was temporarily shut down for repair.

The city said the water has been restored, but they advise citizens not to consume or shower with the water at this time. A notice advising residents to boil any drinking water for the next 72 hours was put into effect on Tuesday.

According to the city, color changes and sediment are expected as a result of the water shutoff.

Bottled water has been made available at Glendale City Hall.
