Dallas, Tex. (KXAS) — One person was hospitalized following an officer-involved shooting outside Dallas Love Field Airport Friday afternoon.
Video from witness Bryan Armstrong shows a chaotic scene as travelers screamed while scrambling for cover near the upper-level baggage claim area as nine gunshots are heard in the background.
The video also shows an officer holding a gun on an individual, telling that person to stay down and get back.
“He fell and I guess he was still moving on the ground. They told him to stop moving and they fired five more shots,” Armstrong said.
Police say the man had been involved in an apparent domestic disturbance, throwing rocks at a woman’s car. When an officer engaged him, police say the man charged the officer, ignoring calls to remain still.
