Shots fired into Medford home

Medford, Ore. – Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a person who fired several shots into a southwest Medford home on Saturday, November 12th.

According to Medford Police, around 5:30 p.m. a home on Willow Way was struck around 17 times from a small caliber firearm. The bullets didn’t penetrate the siding of the home, but several windows were broken.

Police are speculating the shots may have come from someone who was target shooting in a field south of the home. The shots were consistently fired over several minutes, not in a quick volley.

Officers said there is no reason to believe the family would be purposefully targeted, but they’re concerned about going back to their home until the situation is resolved.

If live in the area and have any information, call Medford Police.
