SoHumane gets new renovations

Medford, Ore., — SoHumane has been in the same facility on Table Rock Road for 80 years, and now with the help of the Medford Chamber Leadership Class they are getting some much needed repairs done.

The class is starting renovations this weekend and hope to be done by the end of May.

They are going to be repairing gutters, potholes, cracked concrete and much more. These things are essential to giving these animals the best care they can get.

Kenn Altine, executive director of So-Humane says, “That will be a patch, if you will, one more patch on our place as we work to improve the lives of pets and people in the Rogue Valley.”

The class chose to help raise $45,000 for SoHumane’s facilities, they’re about $8,000 short of their goal right now.

If you want to help them in their fundraising efforts or the work being done at SoHumane, they’re always looking for volunteers or donations.

You can donate on their website at https://www.gofundme.com/sohumane or you can reach them directly at (541) 779-3215.
