Texas flooding: no relief in sight

Llano, Texas (NBC News) – Much of Central Texas is underwater after days of rain, and the wet weather is expected to continue into the weeekend.

At least two people have died in the floods, and first responders have carried out dozens of high-water rescues.

In areas where the water has begun to recede, survivors are doing what they can to clean up.

“It was all scattered. We’re just trying to make piles,” Rebecca Derrick said Thursday as she sorted through the debris left at her Kingsland home.
