Two arrested after fight in Rogue River

0804 Rogue River suspectsRogue River, Ore. — Two transients are arrested in Rogue River after getting into a fight over who could gamble at a nearby restaurant.

The Rogue River Police Department said they found 22-year-old Devan Savage and 20-year-old Dana Cox fighting on the 100 block of West Main Street around 9:00 Tuesday night.

Savage had several bite marks on his neck and chest, but didn’t need to go the hospital. Cox was uninjured.

Police said the disagreement was about who would watch property while Cox went to Abby’s Pizza to gamble.

Both face harassment, disorderly conduct, and assault charges.
