GRANTS PASS, Ore. – Two small fires in Grants Pass were extinguished before they could cause any major damage Monday.
The Grants Pass Department of Public Safety said the first fire sparked in juniper bushes in front of Bi-Mart. The second fire was along Highway 199 between Dowell Road and Allen Creek Road.
GPDPS was assisted by the Oregon Department of Forestry and Rural Metro Fire.
Both fires burned under 1/100th of an acre.
