Wreathes placed on Veteran graves

Grants Pass, Ore.– Late Veterans are honored in Grants Pass as hundreds of Christmas wreathes were laid on headstones at Hillcrest Memorial Park.

Thanks to Wreathes Across America, a national organization, a huge delivery of fresh wreathes now adorn Veteran’s grave sites.

More than 400 wreathes were donated and placed Thursday morning.  The cemetery’s employees say this is by far the largest amount they have ever received.

“We want to honor the Veterans for the sacrifice they have made for our freedoms,” says long time cemetery employee Beverly Brooke.

Donations for the wreathes were raised by the Old Guard Riders local chapter.
