Grants Pass splash pads to reopen

Grants Pass is in the process of reopening its splash pads to the public.
The city council met on Monday to discuss safety measures of reopening the areas.
It says sanitation of the water and surfaces is vital.
Morrison park’s splash pad is now open.
It says the runoff water runs directly to the city’s waste water treatment facility.
Riverside park splash pad however, remains closed. The city is working with the department of environmental quality to safely recirculate the water.
