Klamath County, Ore. — A dog catcher in Klamath County had to write himself a ticket when his dog got loose Monday.
Animal Control Officer Gale McMahon recently adopted a German Shepherd, who decided to check out his new surroundings.
The dog broke through a screen and decided to roam the neighborhood. One of his neighbors contacted McMahon, who went back and got his dog.
McMahon wrote himself a ticket for failure to control, running at large, and had his boss sign it as the issuing officer.
The citation carries a maximum fine of $295.
