Kyron Horman’s mom says stepmother “should be scared”

Portland, Ore. – After the stepmother of missing Portland boy Kyron Horman was arrested on unrelated weapons charges, Kyron’s biological mom is speaking out.

Portland NBC affiliate KGW reports Terri Lynn Moulton, also known as Terri Horman, was taken into custody for allegedly stealing a handgun from her roommate’s safe in Marysville, California.

Kyron Horman was last seen at Skyline School in Portland on June 4, 2010. He has never been found. Terri Moulton has long been a focus of the investigation, but she has never officially been named a suspect.

Kyron’s biological mother, Desiree Young, told Portland affiliate KGW the gun charge “further reinforces the idea that we have the right person.”

“I think that her time is running out and I think that she knows that. We are getting closer and closer to her and I think that she should be scared,” Young told KGW.

Young also said she is concerned Moulton could hurt somebody else. “I am concerned that what will end up happening is someone is going to be harmed, in addition to Kyron, and that is when we’ll be able to hold her accountable,” she said.”
