Applegate Lake, Ore. – A body was found on a trail near Applegate Lake, according to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies said the body of an adult male was discovered face-down near Watkins Campground Tuesday afternoon.
The man has been positively identified, but his name will not be released until next of kin have been notified.
Police do not suspect foul play in the man’s death.
