(KTVB) It has been two weeks since Nicholas Grove escaped from Idaho’s Payette County Jail.
Grove has since been talking with friends on social media. He took to Facebook to explain how he was scared when he climbed a chain link fence, and scaled razor wire just to get out of the facility.
Recently, Grove’s contact shifted from close friends to a conversation with reporter Andrea Lutz from NBC affiliate KTVB.
For roughly an hour, the KTVB reporter and Nick Grove chatted via Facebook messenger and although he wouldn’t reveal too much information, he did talk to her about the days after he escaped from jail.
“This is my element. Within four days I had a new life, new ID, new face, new job,” Grove wrote. He also said since his escape, someone even offered him work.
