Medford, Ore. — A blow for one family who was forced to keep their business closed Sunday after being burglarized.
Michael Szczesniak is the co-owner of Downtown Grounds Coffee Shop on N. Central Avenue in Medford.
He said when he got to work at 8:30 Sunday morning their window was smashed and there was glass everywhere.
“I saw the broken glass and everything just sucked out of me. I called 911 almost instantly and it was pretty hard to keep it all together on the phone,” he said.
Szczesniak said the burglar didn’t get away with much, but they had to keep their shop closed today to clean everything up. They will be back open Monday at 7:00 a.m.
