Rogue Community College students target of tax scam

MEDFORD, ORE. — Medford Police say a new possible phone scam is targeting students at Rogue Community College.

This comes after a student reportedly got a call saying they were selected to receive free help with their tax returns.

The student was then asked to give personal information.

Police say with tax season in full swing, more scams are expected and advise to never give your personal information to anyone over the phone..
