Medford, Ore — Fire officials are issuing a warning about doing yard work. With warm temperatures forecasted this week, they say dry conditions and just a few warm days are enough to cause a fire.
The Douglas fire protection agency is focusing on residents burning yard debris. Asking those doing large areas of yard work to refrain from burning piles constructed with heavy machinery, as those will hold fire over long periods of time.
