Haggen to close both Klamath Falls stores, one in Grants Pass

West Coast grocery chain Haggen has announced the company will close 27 stores in the next sixty days. Three locations in Southern Oregon are among the listed stores, including both stores in Klamath Falls, and one in Grants Pass (NE Beacon Drive).

In a press release, Haggen announced additional stores may be closed or sold in the future. The company calls the move a “right-sizing” strategy.

By making the tough choice to close and sell some stores, we will be able to invest in stores that have the potential to thrive under the Haggen banner,” Bill Shaner said, Haggen CEO Pacific Southwest.

Haggen has stores in Washington, Oregon, California, Nevada and Arizona.
