Klamath Falls Sheriff’s Deputy continues to recover at home

Klamath Falls, Ore. — Almost 3 weeks after being shot in the face and side, a Klamath County Sheriff’s Deputy is continuing to recover at his home in Klamath Falls.

Deputy Jason Weber was shot during a traffic stop on August 27th.

Sheriff Frank Skrah says Deputy Weber appreciates the outpouring of public support,

“35 kids from an elementary school, up at Shasta Elementary School, each made get well cards to Deputy Weber. You should have seen the tears in his eyes when he got them.”

Sheriff Skrah described Deputy Weber’s wounds as ‘horrific’. Weber and his family are requesting privacy from the media and the public as he continues to heal.
