Additional traffic cameras could soon be going up at Medford intersections aimed at catching red-light runners. The medford police department is working to get the cameras approved by the city council.

under the proposal, four more red light cameras would be installed at major intersections in the city. currently, there are only two; one at McAndrews and Biddle roads, and Stewart Avenue and Barnett Road.

We’re told the issue will be discussed more at a later date.
