Oregon Coast Wind

This is video from Lincoln City, where it’s already blustery. By the morning, though, forecasters are anticipating potentially damaging winds. They warn winds could result in downed trees and power outages. The National Weather Service is issuing a hurricane force wind weather warning for waters off the Central Oregon Coast. That goes into effect early Wednesday morning but inland, forecasters predict wind gusts could reach up to 70 mph. The Curry County Sheriff’s department is calling every land line phone warning residents of high winds, heavy rains and potential flooding in the day ahead.
