ROB PATRIDGE PICMedford, Ore. — After over a year of searching, Medford may soon have a new city manager, pending a final vote from the city council next week. Rob Patridge tells NBC5 News that he has signed the contract, with a base annual salary of $157,1000.

The current Klamath Falls District Attorney says he’s excited to begin his new role as Medford City Manager.

“Over the course of the last two weeks, we’ve been able to clarify and negotiate contract provisions, and I was enthusiastic about signing the contract, and coming to work as Medford’s next City Manager,” Patridge said.

The contract allows Patridge to continue as chairman of the Oregon Liquor Control Commission, and provides a car allowance of $500 per month, and a cell phone plan of $65 a month.

The decision is now in the hands of the Medford City Council, they’re expected to cast a final vote next Thursday at 7 PM.
