Eagle Point, Ore. — Jackson County Sheriff’s Deputies and Eagle Point Police responded to the 1000 block of Stevens road in Eagle Point, for a reported school bus in a ditch.
Once on scene, officials determined that the kids and driver were ok. Authorities say the driver was attempting to turn around when the bus got stuck. Parents were notified of the incident, and another school bus picked up the kids and took them home.
Stevens road was closed near Riley road from around 3:30 to 4:45 PM, while crews worked to get the bus out of the ditch. The road has since been reopened.
