Medford, Ore. — Medford police have confirmed a body has been found in a field behind Arbor Place Senior Living on Juanipero way in Medford.
Police say they were investigating an 2002 Mitsubishi Galant when they found the body of a 39 year old Medford woman 20 yards away from the car. Next of kin has been notified.
MPD says they initially responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle in a field when officers found the body of the woman.
Police are investigating the cause of death, pending an investigation by Jackson County Medical examiners and say they don’t believe foul play or suspicious circumstances led to the death.
