Ore. — US Representative Peter Defazio is speaking out about the recent move to delist gray wolves from the Oregon Endangered Species List.
In a statement, Defazio calls the decision outrageous and says the gray wolf needs protection now more than ever.
Defazio says the Oregon Fish and Wildlife Commission, which voted 4-2 to delist the wolves, caved to ranching and other special interests instead of basing their decision on quote “sound science.”
