Man sentenced for October, 2015 shooting

0714 Gonzalaz-MarquezMedford, Ore. — A man accused of shooting at two other men on Prune Street back in October received his sentence on Thursday.

Medford Police said then 20-year-old Juan Antonio Gonzalez-Marquez shot 22-year-old Alex Adrian Enriquez two times before driving off.

Police say both the shooter and the victim have gang ties. Another victim was shot at but not hit.

The Jackson County District Attorney’s office say Gonzalez-Marquez pleaded guilty to two counts of attempted assault with a firearm.

He’ll serve 4.5 years behind bars.
