JOSEPHINE COUNTY, Ore. – Crews are working to contain a new fire in Josephine County.
The Oregon Department of Forestry said firefighters are responded to a wildfire near Crooks Creek, about six miles northeast of Selma.
At 3:15 p.m., the fire was estimated to be two acres or less.
Ground crews have constructed a wet line around a majority of the fire, and helicopters are working to stop the spread and decrease overall fire activity.
