Eagle Point, Ore. – Jackson County Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded around 6:45 Monday evening to a reported crash involving a vehicle and a pedestrian in the 900 block of West Linn Road in Eagle Point.
According to deputies, 36-year-old William Gary Belknap was pronounced dead at the scene.
JSCO said at the time of the crash Belknap was in the roadway and the driver of the vehicle is not suspected of being impaired or under the influence of intoxicants. The incident is still under investigation.
