Douglas County, Ore. — Police are investigating a two car crash, leaving one woman dead in Douglas County.
Oregon State Police say a Dodge pickup, driven by 63-year-old Darlene Buckland of Glide, pulled onto State Route 138 east off Wild River Drive into the path of a Toyota Tundra.
The Dodge was struck from the side. Buckland was pronounced dead on scene. The passenger in the dodge was taken to the hospital.
The driver of the Tundra, 43-year-old Edward Owings, was not injured and will not be issued any citations. It’s unclear if intoxicants were a factor
