Holiday Market now open in downtown Klamath Falls

For the first time in three years, downtown Klamath Falls will have a supermarket and pharmacy.

The opening of Holiday Market at Eighth and Pine Streets represents about a 4 million dollar investment.

“I’ve worked in ten of our stores.”  Notes Store Leader Jesse McAuliffe.  “And this is probably the most supportive store I’ve ever had just in terms of the community.”

President and C.E.O. Richie Morgan says he’s looking for feedback from the public.  “Once everybody shops the store, please let us know what you see, what you’d like us to improve on, and we’ll be happy to fix anything we can.”

Klamath County purchased the former Safeway and Haggen property last year.

That move helped to provide an easier mechanism for potential buyers.

The new store provides jobs for over 50 people.

Sky Lakes plans to open a new pharmacy in the store in about 3 weeks.
