Remembering Avi Feldman

Medford, Ore., — “He’s really energetic, funny, outgoing, made everybody laugh.”

That’s how a friend, Timothy Thomas, describes Avi Feldman.

Feldman was at a house party in Ashland when he was killed.

“I’ve been shedding a lot of tears, I’ve been shedding a lot of tears.”

Thomas says he last spoke to Feldman just three days ago.

“We talked to each other every day.”

22-year-old Pedro Sabalsa Mendez is accused of the killing.

And though police say Mendez and Feldman were friends, Thomas has never heard of him.

“I just want to know why, what provoked the situation, who provoked the situation, why, if you were his friend?”

Now Thomas and other friends and family are remembering Feldman for the loving man he was.

“I love you, I miss you too bro.”
