Woman arrested after fatal shooting in Josephine County

WOLF CREEK, Ore. – Police arrested a woman for allegedly shooting and killing a man in Josephine County.

According to Oregon State Police, 54-year-old Randy Allen Hummel was fatally shot at an address on Placer Road in Sunny Valley on Wednesday around 5:00 p.m.

Police said 40-year-old Amber Ellen Sells was quickly identified as a suspect and arrested on a murder charge.

OSP said the investigation is ongoing and no further information will be released.
