JACKSON COUNTY, Ore. — Sports fans packed area bars and restaurants Sunday to watch the San Francisco 49ers take on the Carolina Panthers.
The 49ers ending with good news, beating the Panthers 23 to 10. The 49erswill be going to the NFC championship gameleaving them one step closer to the super bowl for a second year in a row.
Sports bars around the Rogue Valley had some anxious and happy fans celebrating.
“The niners won you know we had a great game now we ready for them to move on to the next round an go to Seattle and do what we need to do,” said 49er fan, Anthony Gray.
“I’ve been watching the 49ers since I was little so I’ve always known that we can do big things. And the last few years have been really good I mean I knew we were going to make it this far,” said 49ers fan, Ra-Sjeon Hines.
The 49ers will nowface the Seattle Seahawks next Sunday.
Whoever wins that game will be headed to super bowl 48 in New Jersey
