PORTLAND, ORE. — 7 Southern Oregon organizations received part of a $2.6 million grant from the Oregon Cultural trust this week.
The grants are awarded for projects that address access, capacity, creativity and preservation.
84 organizations statewide were given part of the grant.
Below is a list of the organizations in Southern Oregon who will be awarded part of the grant.
Dancing People Company, Ashland : $5,993
Douglas County Museum, Roseburg: $9,580
Josephine Community Libraries, Inc., Grants Pass: $12,972
Klamath Art Association, Klamath Falls: $18,319
Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Ashland: $35,000
Rogue Valley Chorale, Rogue River: $5,000
Rogue Valley Symphony Association, Ashland: $18,300
