New Jackson County Community Justice Director named

GUYERMedford, Ore. — Jackson County has a new Community Justice Director.

Long-time Rogue Valley resident Eric Guyer will take over the position. He’s served as Deputy Director of Transition Services at Community Justice since 2005.

Guyer said he hopes to impact safety and wellness in the county and improve community justice initiatives on the local, state, and national levels.

The position was vacant after previous director Shane Hagey was arrested for purchasing meth last December.
