Dental care is changing for Oregon Health Plan recipients but it wont mean more options for patients.
As part of health reform in Oregon, CCO’S have been set up to coordinate medical care for ohp patients. The addition of dental contractors won’t expand the number of benefits offered, but the new dental contractors will increase efficiency for dentists in their networks and will help make sure pregnant women and children get a better quality of care.
