Pack your bags and get set for a free stay at your favorite state park! Tomorrow is Oregon Parks Day, and that means free day use fees and free camping fees for everyone!
State Park’s day is held the first Saturday of June each year.The event kicks off Oregon outdoors week, in an effort to promote outdoor recreation. National Fishing week is part of that.
This years theme is “let’s go” in honor of the Tyron Creek, who started offering free camping to the Portland area 15 years ago.
Many parks will host special events on park day and you can go to oregon state parks.org for the full schedule of events.
