A new Home Depot store opened in Grants Pass Thursday morning after years of development.
The location is the first in Josephine County. It’s been anticipated by consumers and job-seekers. At least one hundred newly hired employees will start work there today.
The grand opening was at 6 a.m. at 111 Northeast Mill St. A series of do-it-yourself classes were offered to get people in the door. Contests and prizes were offered as well.
