Holly Theatre receives national exposure

Medford, Ore. — Tonight, you can get a glimpse of the Holly Theatre’s restoration project on national tv.

Actor, comedian, and musician Jim Belushi joined the theatre as honorary chair of the restoration project back in April.

He’s been filming his six-episode series “Building Belushi” in Southern Oregon. The final episode airs tonight and includes a segment on his efforts to save the theater.

“The exposure is wonderful, anytime you can have someone learn about your project who didn’t know about it and be as excited about it as you are is a great thing,” said Executive Director of Jefferson Live Randy McKay

The Holly Theatre is still raising funds for the project.

Edenvale Winery will host a fundraising concert by Jim Belushi and the Sacred Hearts on August 29th. You can buy tickets at hollytheatre.org.
