Tsunami Advisory Ends

Saturday night, the National Weather Service issued a tsunami advisory for the Northern California and Oregon coasts.

This after a magnitude 7.7 earthquake shook the Queen Charlotte Islands in Canada this shortly after 8 Saturday evening.

The advisory extended along the Pacific Northwest coast, 80 miles North West of San Francisco to the Douglas Lane County Line.

The advisory is now lifted. Swells up to 1.5 feet above normal tide in Crescent City were recorded. As well as .8 feet above in Port Orford and .4 feet above in Charleston.
