Medford, Ore. — The discussion about so-called dangerous dogs continues in Medford again tonight.
The police advisory committee voted in March not to single-out any dog breed in its recommendations to the city for new rules.
The police department brought-up the issue in January by saying pit-bulls are the breed of choice for drug dealers — and a breed that kills several dogs a year.
The police advisory committee is suggesting the city implement stricter leash laws and increase fines.
This is the first time the council will discuss those recommendations.
