It was all about beards and mustaches at the Grower’s Market in Medford today.
About a dozen men participated in the first Southern Oregon Beard and Stache competition. Local hair experts joined in as the judging panel.
“By the looks of it we got a little bit of everything. From free-grow to guys that just went out cropping and styling.”
“I’m from Portland and I compete in beard and mustache competitions on a regular basis. It’s just fun and something unique to do.”
Some of the categories included best overall beard and mustache, natural facial hair, and not in it to win it. The winner got 50 Grower’s Market bucks and other goodies.
