Farms Across Oregon Celebrate Lavender

Lavender farms across the Rogue Valley and across the state opened their doors to the public to get a close up look at the plant.

Gardeners and volunteers say it’s something that’s become important to everyone whether they know it or not.

“We just want the people of Southern Oregon to know that other than wine grapes and pears, we can grow lavender.”

The event continues on Sunday.
