New Scam Targeting Ashland Utility Customers

If you live in Ashland the city wants to warn you about a scam.

Someone’s calling businesses and homes telling people their payment for their utility bill didn’t go through.

The caller then asks for a credit card number to process the payment.

The city says this is a scam and says if you have concerns about the legitimacy of a utility call call the local office at (541) 488-6004.
